Tweeny Witches, a children’s anime series, did the same premise as The Owl House decades ago but executed its story, characters, themes and lore in a far more consistent and satisfying manner despite the limitations of 10 minutes per episode.

The Seraphim we have seen so far are Kuma, Jinbei, Hancock and Mihawk. Since they all have animal code names I can also see a mini Crocodile and Doflamingo. But I think the Seraphim will be based on the first generation of Shichibukai (the ones at the beginning of One Piece). So maybe Moria as well?

If there is a mini Mingo, I see him more with the Doflamingo family. Mingo was a monster since childhood as he saw himself above everyone else as a Celestial Dragon et was the one responsible for him family despair as he revealed they used to be Celestial Dragons. But maybe he could be a good person if you take out the CD from the equation?

I would say just make him realize how he screwed up doing that, especially as you said Hancock and King were really screwed over by them in their childhood.
